Shanghai, March 19, 2026 — Qingdao Macroalga showcased its enzymatic hydrolysis systems at the 16th China International Fertilizer Show (FSHOW), demonstrating how its innovative technology transforms raw seaweed into high-performance biostimulants.

The live pilot-scale demonstrations highlighted an enzymatic process that preserves 98% of bioactive compounds. Visitors witnessed real-time conversions of Ascophyllum nodosumand Laminaria japonicainto seaweed extracts, with customized enzyme reactors enabling precise control over molecular fragmentation.

Two features gained visitors' interest: "Our low-temperature enzymatic hydrolysis (40°C) ensures maximum bioefficacy." "This technology aligns with global sustainability goals, supporting eco-friendly fertilizer formulations."

The exhibit attracted inquiries from EU and Southeast Asian clients, drawn by Macroalga’s ECOCERT-certified processes and scalable production capacity of 10,000 tons/year. Feedback highlighted the system’s transparency, with full-process visualization tools enabling clients to monitor nutrient transformation from raw material to final product. "We’re bridging lab innovation to industrial application," said Macroalga’s R&D Director. "By simplifying enzymatic hydrolysis for agricultural use, we empower farmers to enhance crop resilience sustainably."
